The story of Ric Slaughter and his Black 1960 Chevy Biscayne is very similar to those most hot rod owners at his age would tell: He had one in high school and now when he has the time to play again he buys the same car. While the story is nothing special, Ric’s 1960 Chevy Biscayne is truly exceptional.
First and foremost you don’t get to see a 1960 Chevy Biscayne in such top shape as often as Camaros, Chevelles or Novas and then the engine bay of this classic car is fitted with one of the legendary John Lingenfelter 496 Big Block V8 motors kicking on 650 horses sent through Tremec 5-speed. Ric even has a big bottle of Nitrous in the trunk but shares he only used it twice and it was quite scary.
