Kim Kardashian was looking her casual best in a new set of photos shared to Instagram on Thursday.
The 42-year-old reality TV icon posed in a series of low-key photos highlighting her glamorous long hair, which her celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton shared to his account.
The stunning photos, which were the polar opposite of Kim’s recent attempt at wearing intentionally ‘bad’ makeup, showed her looking impeccably made-up while sporting lustrous raven tresses, which were presumably styled by Appleton.
‘Bombshell Kimmy,’ he captioned the snaps approvingly.

Kim opted for a simple look that nonetheless highlighted her stellar curves.
She wore a simple white T-shirt that was partially tucked into the top of her high-waisted blue jeans.
The weather pants hugged her hips and featured a blown-out patch over one of her thighs.
The SKIMS star puckered up her plump lips and gazed into the camera while swiping her long locks forward to show off the length.

Kim’s hair appeared considerably longer than in photos shared to her own Instagram account earlier this month, indicating that she had padded out her length with extensions.
Kim has lately returned to her natural jet black hair after previously sporting a chic platinum blond dye job.
She shocked her fans when she debuted the striking look in May of last year as she hit the red carpet of the Met Gala.
The hair was perfectly coordinated with her dress, an iconic item once worn by another famous blonde, Marilyn Monroe, when she sang a breathy rendition of Happy Birthday to then-President John F. Kennedy at a political fundraiser at Madison Square Garden in 1962.

While speaking to E! News at the time of Kim’s blond hair debut, Appleton spoke about how Kim was able to ‘reinvent’ her style when she lightened her hair with the new look.
‘It was honestly just the right time. It just fell into place,’ he said. ‘I love a blond Kim. I think it’s so interesting how a [hair] color can change the colors of the clothes you wear and it really changes your makeup. You can really reinvent things.’
He explained that Kim’s dark hair required multiple waves of ‘lightening’ and ‘conditioning’ to get it to look just right, and he urged anyone else with similarly dark hair who wanted to go blond to do it with a professional at a salon and not at home.
‘What I didn’t want to do was compromise the condition so much so that it didn’t look good,’ he said. ‘We had a fast turnaround because we had to get it done for the Met, but it was lots of conditioning treatments in between each setting and lightening the process. My technique really is all about taking very fine sections of hair and lightening the process with just very fine sections back to back.’
