Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Young Rock’ Ended Sylvester Stallone vs. Arnold Schwarzenegger Debate With Three Liner Bomb

Hollywood actors Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone were two of the biggest action stars of their generation. Both superstars managed to have a lasting impact on popular culture for the better part of two decades with a variety of blockbuster films under their names.

However, this naturally gave rise to the question of who was the bigger action star among the two. Former WWE superstar and action hero Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson seemed to have the answer to this question as he revealed who was the bigger star according to him.

Dwayne Johnson gives his pick between Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger

‘The Rock’ recently starred in a sitcom based on his own life ‘Young Rock’. Moreover, in an episode, a younger version of Johnson debates who was a better action star with his friend. His friend thought Stallone was impressive, but Schwarzenegger was better. However, ‘The Rock’ argued in Stallone’s favor with a three worded response. “Stallone all day,” he said.

He also gave his reasoning why Stallone was better than Schwarzenegger, referencing his iconic character Rambo. “It’s a fact that my guy could take your guy via air, land, sea and time,” he added.

Despite this, his friend wasn’t convinced that ‘Sly’ was better and asked Johnson who he would choose to rescue his daughter, in a hypothetical scenario. However, ‘The Rock’ didn’t budge and still went with Rambo as his choice. “Rambo, he’s experienced in tropical environments he’s escaped POW camps. He knows how to deal with a loose cannon,” he added.

The Rock certainly made it clear who he thought was the better of the two action megastars. However, he does consider both men to be his inspiration to become a movie star himself as he shared a heartfelt message with this video.

Along with his video of the show, Johnson also shared a message for his heroes. He stated that he admired both men and was grateful for the support he got from the two when he started his acting career.

Sly and Arnold were MY HEROES growing up and I will forever be GRATEFUL to them both for being so incredibly kind and supportive of me and my career when I first broke into Hollywood,” he wrote.

Despite being bitter rivals in their time, the two legends have developed a great friendship. Moreover, for fans of action movies, Stallone and Schwarzenegger will forever be remembered as pioneers of their craft and an inspiration for actors following in their footsteps.
