Here’s why the Seraphims might be the strongest living beings in the One Piece world

The Seraphims have been recently introduced in One Piece and their importance is only growing more with time. In the Egghead Island arc, the Seraphims have played quite an important role and Oda is still showing their capabilities to the fans slowly. Until recently, fans knew very little about what these powerful creatures were capable of.

However, as the arc reaches its climax, Oda started providing explanations about the creation of these Seraphims and, at the same time, also let the readers know how powerful they are and what kind of potential these beings carry. Undoubtedly, the Seraphims are incredible and they are sure to shake up the world of One Piece in the last saga of the story.

The Power Of The Gods

Perhaps one of the biggest assets of the Seraphims is that they possess the power of Gods of the One Piece world. Towards the end of the Wano Country arc, fans got to see a race known as the Lunarians. King the Wildfire, one of the three right-hand men of Kaido, was a member of the Lunarian race. Immediately after his face was revealed, Oda made sure to reveal a lot of information about the race of the Lunarians. They are, by the looks of it, the most wanted in the One Piece world and this is largely due to the powers that they possess. In fact, Marco, the former acting captain of the Whitebeard Pirates went on to say that they were once worshiped as Gods nearly 400 years ago in the One Piece world and that they lived atop the Red Line.

Meanwhile, in King’s fight against Zoro, fans got to see the terrific power that he wielded. Thanks to the flame on his back, King was able to manipulate and create fire. At the same time, he possessed incredible durability and could not be pierced by even the strongest of attacks as long as the fire on his back kept burning. King could also move at blazing fast speeds in exchange for the tough defense that the flames on his back gave him. Seraphims are made with the DNA or, the Lineage Factor, as is known in the One Piece world, of these Lunarians. As such, they have their black wings, brown skin, white hair, and flaming back. They also have their terrific toughness along with the ability to manipulate fire, which makes them some of the most dangerous people in the One Piece world.

The Devil Fruit Powers

If having the powers of the Lunarian race was not enough, the Seraphims are also equipped with another ability that Dr. Vegapunk managed to give to them. This ability is rooted in the Lineage Factor that was first mentioned during the Whole Cake Island arc. Lineage Factor is essentially the DNA in the One Piece world. By extracting the Lineage Factor of devil fruit users who possess Paramecia powers, Dr. Vegapunk was able to create what he calls green blood. This green blood is injected into the bodies of the Seraphims and it courses through their veins. As a result, all the Seraphims gain the power of the same Devil Fruit that the original user possesses without actually having eaten the devil fruit.

This was first seen when the Seraphim of Jinbe was able to utilize the powers of the Sui Sui no Mi while fighting the Straw Hat Pirates. Later on, even S-snake and S-Bear displayed the ability of their respective fruits while fighting the Cipher Pol members. When coupled with these powers, they become even more dangerous and this is one of the reasons why they are known to be potentially the strongest beings alive.

Unlimited Potential

The potential of the Seraphims is immense. They are extremely powerful already, however, it must be noted that they are still kids. Judging by the statement of the CP0, it is highly likely that the Seraphim will grow up to become giants and take forms similar to those of their original counterparts. When they grow up, they will, most likely going to be even stronger and will hit their full potential. Right now, they are already powerful enough to give trouble to even some of the strongest fighters in the One Piece world, as was seen when the Seraphim of Mihawk, S-Hawk, was able to startle even Blackbeard, while the Seraphim of Jinbe was able to cause trouble for the Straw Hat Pirates until Sanji delivered a powerful blow to it.

Eventually, they will grow even further and once that happens, they will most likely become the strongest beings alive in the One Piece world and their strength will most certainly surpass even that of the top tiers of the world. Despite them not being able to use Haki, their scientific abilities, coupled with their incredible Devil Fruit powers, are enough to compete with the strongest and even overcome them. It is evident that the power of science is something that can easily be considered equal or greater to the strongest abilities in the One Piece world as confirmed by Dr. Vegapunk himself.
