Zlatan Ibrahimovic has given his thoughts after Argentina won the World Cup in Qatar last month.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes Lionel Messi will be remembered as the greatest player of all time. However, the AC Milan striker has slammed the rest of the Argentina squad following their World Cup triumph last month. The South American giants won the tournament for the third time in their history, beating France on penalties after a dramatic 3-3 draw in the final.
Ibrahimovic played alongside Messi at Barcelona, with the duo spending 12 months together in the 2009/2010 season.
And while the Sweden international is happy for his former team-mate following Argentina’s World Cup triumph, he’s ripped into the rest of the squad.
In an interview with France Inter, he said: “Messi is considered the best player in history, I was sure he was going to win.
“What will happen is that [Kylian] Mbappe will still win a World Cup. I’m not worried about him.
“I’m worried about the others in Argentina, because they will not win anything more.

“Messi has won everything and he will be remembered, but the rest who behaved badly, we can’t respect that.
“This is coming from me, speaking as a top professional player, that is a sign that you will win once, but you won’t win again. You don’t win like that.”
Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has been in the spotlight ever since the tournament in Qatar.
The goalkeeper has been accused of disrespecting Kylian Mbappe, despite the forward scoring four times against him in the final.
Martinez made a crude gesture with an award following the final, while he’s also continued to stick the knife into Mbappe.

FIFA launched an investigation into the Aston Villa star in the aftermath, too, and the 30-year-old has since been brought back down to earth by manager Unia Emery.
After the tournament, Martinez explained his antics by saying: “I did it [the lewd gesture with the golden glove award] because the French booed me. Pride does not work with me.”
And he also said: “We suffered a lot. We thought we were in control but they managed to come back.
“It was a very complicated game. Our destiny was to suffer.
“They had one last chance to win [Kolo Muani’s late shot]. Luckily I was able to stop it with my foot.

“This is a moment I’ve always dreamed of living, I have no words for it.
“I left very young for England and I would like to dedicate this victory to my family.”
Ibrahimovic, meanwhile, has claimed he could become an actor once he eventually hangs up his boots.
Speculation is rife the forward will quit football at the end of the season.
And he said: “For me, this film is a big thing. Football fans have known me for a long time, but this is another world.

“Becoming an actor? You never know, I’m very curious about the world of cinema!
“I have to thank Guillaume for this chance he gave me… but I’m not intimidated in front of the camera.”
And on his time in France with Paris Saint-Germain, he added: I love France, I spent four years in France and took French football to a worldwide level.
“This isn’t arrogance, it’s confidence in one’s own means.”
