A fast food chain employee has been fired after he was caught on camera taking a bath in the restaurant’s industrial kitchen sink.
The footage was originally posted to TikTok, before also being shared on Facebook – where it’s since been viewed more than 38,000 times.
The person who posted the clip on Facebook wrote: “So yeah I’m just gonna tell everyone right now DONT NOT GO TO THE GREENVILLE WENDYS. THIS IS DISGUSTING PLEASEEEEEE SHARE THIS.”
The 23-second clip shows an unnamed man bathing in a large sink at a Wendy’s restaurant on North Lafayette Street in Greenville, Michigan.

It’s not clear whether the employee is completely unclothed or has underwear on beneath the soapy water.
Someone else can be heard telling the person ‘wash yourself’, before lobbing him what looks like a sponge or some soap.
The man replies: “It feels like a hot tub. I’m just enjoying life, boss.”
Christian Camp, a spokesperson for Team Schostak – the company that owns the Greenville Wendy’s – told Newsweek that all the employees involved in the video have since been fired.
Camp, who is the Vice President of Human Resources for Team Schostak, said: “Upon learning of this situation, all employees in the video were terminated immediately and the restaurant has been completely sanitised.
“This egregious behaviour is completely unacceptable and counter to our safety, training and operational standards.”
Camp also told The Daily News that Team Schostak has also taken the ‘proper steps to make sure something like this never happens again’.
Explaining that the restaurant would reopen on Tuesday 11 February, after action had been taken to ensure conditions were both clean and safe for employees and customers, he said: “We’ve taken to the appropriate steps.
“We’ve looked at everything that was involved in the said incident to make sure everything is clean – per state regulations, at a minimum – but we try to go as far and above as we can.”

Believe it or not, this isn’t even the first time this has happened.
Towards the end of last year, another Wendy’s employee – this time based in Florida – was fired for a similar stunt.
In a video, which was shared on Snapchat, the man clambers into a sink full of soapy water, wearing only shorts.
His colleagues can be heard laughing as he asks them to ‘turn the jets on’. The man can then be seen washing his armpits before scrubbing himself with a piece of kitchen towel.
In a statement at the time, Mike Johnson – a representative from Carlisle who owns that particular franchise of Wendy’s – said: “We are taking this incident seriously and it is obviously unacceptable.
“This was a prank by a person who no longer works at this restaurant, and who clearly did not use good judgement. We are taking this opportunity to reinforce our very strict quality procedures with our restaurant team.”
The day after the bath time footage was recorded, the restaurant was also visited by inspectors from the Department of Business and Professional regulation and it passed a sanitation inspection.
