Avengers 4 is the Endgame but could we have seen a character make a resurrection in the trailer?
We finally got our hands on some footage of Avengers 4 with the recently released trailer that unveiled the Infinity War sequel as Avengers: Endgame.
The new trailer depicts the surviving heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe picking up the pieces after the titanic Thanos (Josh Brolin) obtained all of the Infinity Stones and wiped out half of the universe’s population.
In the trailer we see Iron Man/Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) looking defeated in space as he floats in a ship after leaving Thanos’ homeworld, Titan.
The only person remaining with him on Titan was Nebula (Karen Gillan), who is seen on the Guardians of the Galaxy’s old ship, but it is not confirmed whether she is on the same ship as Stark.
Some fans think, however, that they spotted another passenger aboard Tony’s ship.
Taking to Twitter, some pointed out how they thought they could see fallen Guardian and cute little tree Groot (Vin Diesel) in one shot, back in his small Baby Groot form.
There certainly is some resemblance, but it is more realistically going to be Nebula or a piece of equipment that so happens to look like Groot.
Or a piece of Groot is still alive?
Regardless, we have a number of theories on Endgame that have emerged from the trailer, along with what we definitely know about the film from the scenes that are shown.
Additionally, we also have Captain Marvel to look forward to before the fourth Avengers film finally drops.
