Former France coach Raymond Domenech admired Parisian club’s approach to managing the forward
PSG are getting back to full fitness for their upcoming games. Sergio Ramos and Neymar have both returned to training, so their respective comebacks are expected soon.
However, all praise and attention is focused on Leo Messi, the savior of the Parisian team in recent matches.
Christophe Galtier was very clear in the last game against Toulouse about the direction in which PSG should be heading.
“I ask the team to play for Leo and work for him. He must be relieved of certain tasks,” Galtier admitted in his pre-match press conference.
This has been applauded in France. With regard to Galtier‘s management of Messi in the team, former French national coach Raymond Domenech, an analyst for L’Equipe, supported the decision.
“I agree with Galtier. Even when he was younger, he didn’t defend much, so now at the age of 35? On the other hand, when he has the ball in the opponent’s box, something is happening,” Domenech told L’Equipe
For Domenech, there is a certain parallel between PSG and the World Cup-winning Argentina team
“He has a team at PSG that is actually built like Argentina’s. They are all at the service of Messi. They are all at the service of Messi, who is going to make the difference,” he continued.
These words highlight the high level at which Messi has been operating in the absence of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
Mbappe shares surprising compliment to build bridges with Neymar
The Brazilian forward celebrated his birthday
Paris Saint-Germain could remain calm because it seems as though their stars are beginning to build bridges between them.
Lionel Messi and Achraf Hakimi have demonstrated lately that they maintain a good understanding, with Kylian Mbappe reaching to Neymar in the last few hours.
Perhaps the sense of tension between the two players has been generated by the press, but there have been some incidents which haven’t helped either.
PSG have always denied speculation, implying that there is no conflict between any of their stars.
Meanwhile, Mbappe took advantage of the Brazilian star’s birthday, who celebrated it with a party this Sunday, to demonstrate his feelings about Neymar.
The Brazil international turned 31 and he celebrated the occasion accompanied by his friends and also PSG teammates.
There are no photos showing Mbappe at Neymar‘s party, one which Lionel Messi and Marco Verratti attended. However, Mbappe took to social media to wish happy birthday to his teammate.
