An abandoned puppy was discovered earlier this year in a tree on a farm in central Georgia. The dog had no food, no shelter, and no way to get aid.
He was abandoned outdoors in bad weather for four years. He had a thirst and hunger due to being outside in the rain and sun. He barely weights 11kg, whereas he needs to weigh at least 20kg to participate in his race (Pit Bull), and he has injuries all over his body.
The local rescue group Cordele Animal Shelter began looking for the dog after getting an anonymous complaint, and when they discovered it, they posted some heartbreaking pictures and shared the story with the public on social media.
A NEW HOME IS REALLY WHAT THIS UNFORTUNATE ANIMAL NEEDS TO RECONNECT WITH HIS LONG-LOST LOVE. This puppy is vulnerable and needs to find a new home immediately away where he can get the attention he needs. ACCORDING TO A CORDELE ANIMAL RESCUER.
You already know the dog was given the nickname “cocaine,” so life wasn’t easy for him, but after being saved, he found a new home and began receiving therapy. Because of his bravery and tenacity, the puppy is now known as Hero.
This dog has undergone a significant transformation in its new home thanks to his new owner, who has shown the puppy a great deal of love and affection in contrast to his previous owner.
The adoptive mother posted on Facebook, “He was great; I gave him a modest dinner and put the bed in his kennel; he came in and settled himself; it had night lights and a radio.”
