Dwayne Johnson is one of the kind and most respectful people in Hollywood. But that’s Dwayne Johnson and when he switches to The Rock mode, he can be equally vicious on the mic. Several wrestlers know this fact and many fans have witnessed this. Once a fan question made Johnson switch to his WWE persona to give an appropriate reply for insulting his YouTube channel.
In 2016, while having a Q&A session on his YouTube channel, he read a fan’s insulting comment. He quickly turned to The Rock to answer it. The question was the Jumanji star having a YouTube channel looks like a grown man who cannot jump rope and DJ bro.
The Rock said, “Hey let me tell you something, I ain’t your f**king bro. All right? And if I ever see you out on the streets, I will knock your teeth so far down your f**king throat, you’ll stick a toothbrush up your a** to brush them.”
He added, “And then you know what I’m going to do? Know what I’m going to do? I’m going to f**king jump rope. That’s what I’m going to do.”
‘The Most Electrifying Man’ showed the fan messing with The Rock is not a great move, even on social media. Following his comments, a man jumping rope with DJ’s face edited on it.
Clearly, this was a friendly type of banter between DJ and the fan who wrote the comment. But it was great to see even though acting full time, The Rock hasn’t lost his touch for cutting a promo in WWE.
Dwayne Johnson had the same “toothbrush” joke for John Cena
Two years later, after making the above joke on a fan, DJ had the same words for John Cena. Johnson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where the host said ‘The Cenation Leader will be on the next show. The Rock told Kimmel to give his message to Cena.
The Black Adam star said, “When you do see him just send him my love. I know he’ll be on the show and then say, ‘Listen, DJ always wants to remind you that, if he ever acts up, I’ll knock his teeth so far down his throat, that he’ll stick a toothbrush up his a** to brush them.”
Kimmel wrote down this message and shared it with Cena the in the next episode. The 16-time world champion was shocked to hear this, but had an equally fitting reply for The Rock.
