Jurgen Klopp: “If there’s one club that can win between now and the end of the season, it’s Liverpool.”

Despite many problems that have not shown any signs of improvement, coach Jurgen Klopp still loudly declares that his team has the ability to win from now until the end of the season and turn the tide of the race for the top 4.

Coach Jurgen Klopp strongly hopes that he can push the player to rise again.

Winning only 2 of the last 7 matches in all competitions has raised more doubts about the competitiveness of coach Klopp’s team this season. In the Premier League, before entering the first match of the two missing matches, welcoming Wolves at Anfield on Wednesday, Liverpool are nine points behind fourth place held by Tottenham. However, coach Klopp remains adamant that the winning streak will soon come to them.

Premier League history records a record-long winning streak held by Man.City and Liverpool, with 18 consecutive victories. In which, it is worth noting that Liverpool have twice created such a winning streak – with the most recent being the 2019-2020 season that saw Klopp’s army in a winning streak to win the first Premier League title in 30 years. The Red Brigade has also had other impressive accelerations in the last two seasons – last season they won 10 consecutive matches in the Premier League to contribute to a streak of 18 games unbeaten until the end of the tournament, and before that, won 8. in the last 10 games of the season to secure a place in the top 4.

Coach Klopp emphasized: “There are still 15 games and 45 points to win. It’s going to be a great moment, a really great moment! That’s what we want to do. We have to bounce back, we have to play football and enjoy what we’re doing. I really think we’re ready. If there’s one club that can win between now and the end of the season, I really think it’s us! We will attack again. Now we have to make sure we squeeze everything we can this season. We want to get the best result with the strongest performance.”

Liverpool is ready to avenge the 0-3 defeat at Wolves in early February.

Liverpool host Wolves at Anfield on Wednesday night (one of the two games is missing, the other is against Tottenham), before hosting arch-rivals Man.United on Sunday. Luckily they are fueled by a series of comebacks from injury such as Virgil van Dijk and Diogo Jota over the weekend and Darwin Nunez, Ibrahima Konate from this Wednesday.

“It’s been a super important week,” said Klopp. “I want to push the season forward starting this week. To get results, you need good performances. I know we all understand, so do the players. We have to do our best from tomorrow’s match. We have to make sure we’re ready and I know Anfield will be.”
