Scott Lang got the message: he was not yet welcome back in Maggie’s or Cassie’s life as a recently released ex-con. Scott was still determined to be a part of Cassie’s life but knew better than to keep sneaking around, so he simply asked his ex-wife for a plan of action.
Even if the odds were against him, Scott was smart to form a solid, practical plan to regain Maggie’s trust and earn a place in Cassie’s life. Scott even did some math on pencil and paper to figure out his finances, though he was far from being financially stable.
