As much as watching your favorite sportspersons take a lie detector test is a fun prospect for a fan, it is not so much for the interviewee themselves.
Lewis Hamilton found that the hard way as he recently took one. The fun little interview spilled the beans on so many aspects of his life that we never expected to get to know about. One such was when they asked him if he watched any reality TV shows.

During the interaction that was set up to look intimidating with Hamilton sitting in a chair on one side of the table with the lie detector expert and interviewer on the other in a badly lit room, they asked him if he thought he could beat his teammate George Russell in an arm wrestle. Not to the surprise of many, he answered affirmatively. However, the test does not lie, humans do, and the 7x time F1 champion was caught doing exactly that.

Shortly before that, they asked Lewis an innocent question but the Briton was once again caught lying. In the video uploaded by Sky Sports F1, they asked him, “Do you watch reality TV- Love Island, Keeping Up with the Kardashians?”
With a straight face, Hamilton answered “no”. However, it took the machine a matter of seconds to tell he was lying. He exclaimed, “That’s ridiculous! Definitely don’t watch anything.”
The interviewer then insisted, “Come on, with the Kardashians, surely you must have watched that.”
But Lewis was firm on it and reiterated that he had never watched an episode of the show.
Now that could bother Kendall Jenner, given that they were once rumored to be dating. The whole thing might be that, a rumor, but they were good friends surely.
Has Lewis Hamilton ever peed in his F1 car?
F1 is an extreme sport with races lasting close to two hours. As the car heats up with every minute it runs on the tarmac, staying in becomes more and more difficult. This gave rise to rumors that F1 drivers pee themselves because they can’t get out during the race. While some drivers have admitted to doing it, some have denied it.

When they asked Lewis if he ever did it, during the lie detector test, he denied it as well. But lo and behold, he was lying! When asked to explain himself, he said, “I have once. Not at Singapore, I can’t remember.”
Which other driver would you like to see a lie detector test? What questions do you think they’ll lie about?
