The actress-turned-director was so in to her project that she appeared to lose weight
Angelina Jolie was “so determined” to make her latest movie, Unbroken, perfect that she was barely eating on set, according to one of her cast members, Japanese musician Miyavi.
The singer-songwriter, who made his acting debut with Jolie’s latest film, said that he had been surprised by how much Angelina believed in his abilities and also by how much weight the actress appeared to lose while they were filming.
The 33-year-old Japanese actor explained: “It was surprising how much she trusted me, all of us, on the set.

“She was so determined. I was also surprised how skinny she got. You know, she was not eating much.”
Speaking to HuffPost Live, he added: “I felt so bad I was the only one who got fat during filming.”

Miyavi, who was cast as torturous sergeant Matsuhiro Watanabe recently told New York Post’s Page Six column that he was so nervous that he was sick in front of Angelina.
