AARON RAMSEY netted a bargain by snapping up this year’s most expensive house in Wales – because he knocked more than £1m off the price.
The Arsenal and Wales star kept the sale price under wraps when he bought the luxury pad in an exclusive suburb in the Welsh capital.

But it was named on the Land Registry records as the highest priced house sale in Wales in 2017 – showing it was sold for £3.1m even though it was originally on the market for £4.5m.
His “bargain” purchase of the magnificent five-bedroomed mansion Fairoak Farm capped a year to remember for the Wales star after winning the FA Cup.
The Welsh long house overlooking the Bristol Channel in Cardiff’s Lisvane suburb boasts gardens with fountains, a three-hole golf course, tennis court and a five-star hotel standard outdoor pool with hot tub and sauna.
But the crowning glory is a helicopter pad which means the 26-year-old is just an hour from Arsenal’s Colney training ground in London.

He scored the winning goal in Arsenal’s 2-1 FA Cup Final win over London rivals Chelsea back in May.
But Rambo has been out of action since picking up a hamstring injury agaisnt Southampton on December 9.
And the midfielder is likely to miss the Gunners clash against Crystal Palace on Thursday night as well as the New Year’s Eve game at West Brom.
But boss Arsene Wenger will be hoping he will be back in time for the January 3 match against Chelsea.’
