Emi Martinez produced a lewd celebration after Argentina won the World Cup – and Argentina’s WAGs took a leaf out of his book as they cheekily posed with pretend penises of the trophy
Argentina’s WAG’s hilariously pretended to have penises as they copied Emi Martinez’s cheeky World Cup-winning celebration.
Martinez took s***housery to new heights when he trolled France by lewdly posing with the Golden Glove award near his crotch after his nation beat France to lift the World Cup. The keeper was left facing punishment from FIFA for his crude antics, but that didn’t stop some of the stunning WAGs of the Argentina squad from emulating Martinez’s actions.
Lionel Messi and Co were back in action for the first time since lifting the coveted gold trophy in December, on Thursday. And following 2-0 friendly win over Panama, Lionel Scaloni’s side carried on their World Cup celebrations on home soil at River Plate’s El Monumental Stadium.
Martinez’s trolling was the theme of the festivities as both his team-mates and their partners re-enacted the Aston Villa stopper’s dance.
His wife Madinha led her fellow WAGs, comprised of ex-Man United ace Marcos Rojo’s partner, Julia Silva, Caro Caro Calvagni, the wife of former West Ham target Nicolás Tagliafico, Guido Rodriguez’s other half Wada Ramon, and Geronimo Rulli’s wife, Rocio Suarez, as they posed with replica World Cups near their pelvis’.
Madinha posted the WAGs’ cheeky rendition to her Instagram story with a slew of crying face emojis. Not to be left out by their wives, their significant others – with Martinez at the forefront – did the same pose on the pitch with huge smiles etched on their faces.
Alongside Martinez stood Rojo, Rodriguez, and Rulli, but Tagliafico who was elsewhere on the pitch, was replaced by German Pezzella in the line up. It was an eventful match for Martinez who was spotted getting emotional when the crowd serenaded the World Cup winners ahead of the game as fireworks lit up the stadium.
Messi sealed the win for Argentina with a superb free-kick just before half time. But not to be outdone his long-time rival Cristiano Ronaldo scored an equally impressive set-piece for Portugal in their Euro 2024 qualifier against Liechtenstein.
