Internet users were at a loss to explain the mysterious creature
And social media was quick to descend into discussion over what the jelly-like creature it could be.
One user wrote: “That is spectacular. Kind of looks like a bloated decomposing ray.”
Internet users were mystified last week after a bizarre white object washed up on a Filipino beach.
The 2,000kg furry object was later confirmed to be the decaying carcass of a whale.

The pictures swiftly went viral, capturing the world’s imagination.
Some speculated it was a sea cow, or a Dugong. Others said it looked suspiciously like an old English sheepdog.
In December a barnacle-covered object astounded New Zealanders after it appeared on a beach near Auckland.
Hundreds liked the pictures on Facebook and the mysterious object encouraged all sorts of conspiracy theories as to what hid beneath the thick layer of barnacles.
Some punters used their imagination and a dash of humour to point out it could be a Rastafarian whale, alien time capsule or even an ancient a Maori canoe.
Many commentators claimed it was just a piece of driftwood.
