Willow, the 13-year-old daughter of actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, has a snake zoo in her room.
US Weekly reported that she keeps up to 10 slithering pals in her room, some of them uncaged. She even cuddles with them in bed.
Brother Jaden, 15, has also taken a fancy to the snakes, calling them his “girlfriends”. “They slither into his bed and curl up with him!” an insider told US Weekly.
The Whip My Hair singer had her first boa constrictor, Beauty, when she was seven. The reptile slithered into the family’s good books as it helped her mother overcome her fear of snakes.
Said Mrs Smith: “I’ve always loved snakes but was afraid of them. But Willow had wanted this one snake forever. She’d go into the pet store and pick it up and wrap it around her.”
“I’d never touched a snake before, and I put out my hand, and Beauty [mimics the snake slithering up her arm]. I’ve been in love with her ever since. I said to Willow, “You did Mommy a big favor. You helped me overcome a fear.”
