Keanu Reeves has been granted a restraining order against a stalker who has been hell-bent on proving they’re related.
Bryan Keith Dixon, 38, allegedly left a rucksack containing a DNA testing kit at The Matrix star’s property in a desperate bid to prove they are blood relatives.
Dixon, who goes under the pseudonym ‘Jasper Keith Reeves’, reportedly trespassed on Reeves’ $5million (£4m) mansion six times since November.
Security footage from November shows him peering over walls, smoking in the garden and walking along an outdoor terrace.
A judge granted a temporary restraining order barring Dixon from coming within 100 yards of Keanu and wife Alexandra.
Bizarre social media posts on Dixon’s account said he wants to put the actor “in charge” of him and assign his “personal rights” away.
He also claimed to be the actor’s blood relative although he is a complete stranger to the actor.
The actor’s lawyer, Matthew Rosengart, told TMZ that the man had “been harassing them for months”.
He added that the “suspicious and alarming” backpack containing the DNA kit was “apparently intended to use on Mr. Reeves in a delusional attempt to prove they are blood-related”.
While he’s a seasoned martial artist in kung-fu and karate, Reeves, 58, had to hire a private security team to investigate the intruder.
The team also uncovered Dixon’s multiple run-ins with the law, including convictions for assault, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
Dixon will appear in court on 24 February.
It’s not the first time Reeves has had to bat off fans from his premises.
A woman in her 40s broke into the bedroom of the actor’s LA mansion in 2014 and stood naked over him he slept.
He said: “It was a woman who was a fan, who wanted to say ‘hi’ at four in the morning… with her luggage.”
Just days later, Kerry Colen Raus, 50, broke in to the property where she took a dip in his swimming pool and took a shower in his house.
Raus was allegedly placed in a psychiatric facility following the incident.
The Daily Star has reached out to Keanu Reeves’ lawyer, Matthew Rosengart, for further comment.
