Keanu Reeves has been one of Hollywood’s hottest heartthrobs for almost three decades, so it’s probably no surprise amorous fans recently simulated sex with his video game character in “Cyberpunk 2077.”
The character, Johnny Silverhand, is voiced by Reeves, 57, and was designed to look just like the “Point Break” hunk in real life, sending admirers into a spin.
After the game was released last December, kinky players discovered a function that allowed their avatars to have sex with Silverhand — although he remained fully clothed during the virtual romps.
CD Projekt Red — the company behind “Cyberpunk 2077” — soon shut down the modification, but Reeves now says he’s okay with being the subject of cybersex fantasies.
“Yes!” Reeves replied in a cheeky reaction to The Verge when asked about the frisky “Cyberpunk 2077” gamers this week. “Oh, my God, It’s always nice when it’s nice.”
The “Speed” star fessed up about his seeming approval while promoting his upcoming movie, “The Matrix Resurrections,” alongside co-star Carrie-Ann Moss. (Moss was less receptive to the concept.)
Reeves even elaborated, implying he’d be happy for fans to continue to have virtual sex with him.
“Think of how much money is in porn, right? So you could not even have to be there and people could have digital sex with your digital avatar. What’s it called right now, For Members Only?” Reeves asked the interviewer, appearing to reference Only Fans.
“You could do a whole thing. Oh my God, then you get the suit that’s probably made in Sweden or some German thing, then you’ve got the VR thing. Then they’ve got the data on you with your arousal metrics… ” the actor continued.
“God help us!” Moss exclaimed as she sat, giggling, at Reeves’ side.
The “John Wick” star didn’t disclose whether or not he would soon be starting his own Only Fans account to help satisfy the virtual urges of “Cyberpunk 2077” players.
Meanwhile, fans are eager for Reeves to revive his role as Neo in the new “Matrix” movie, which hits HBO Max and theaters on Dec. 22.
Speaking about the original 1999 blockbuster earlier this week, the star said that a transgender character was cut from a script draft.
An androgynous character named Switch was supposed to be played by a woman in the “Matrix” world and a man in reality.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Reeves candidly admitted: “I think the studio wasn’t ready for that.”
