Gigi Hadid has found the best cardigan for a hot summer day.

The supermodel was spotted out in NYC yesterday, wearing an ab-bearing casual look that continued her recent streak of untraditional sweaters. For the outing, Hadid chose a sheer tie-front cardigan with a subtle collar short sleeves from Princess Polly, layered over a matching black bra. She paired the top with gray, straight-leg jeans and a pair of classic Converse high-top sneakers.

The model accessorized the look with black oval-shaped sunglasses, a thick gold necklace, and a small shoulder back in a tie-dyed black and neon-green hue.

Last Wednesday, Hadid stepped out in SoHo wearing another warm-weather sweater look. She paired a cropped knit sweater vest, featuring different multicolored patterns including checker prints and stripes, with ripped wide-leg jeans from Danielle Guizio.

She finished the look with the same Converse sneakers and sunglasses from Friday’s look, as well as some fun accessories, including a creamy pocket pouch from Loro Piana, a brown bucket hat with a gray rim, a chunky gold choker necklace, and a hot pink charm bracelet.

The multi-hyphenate’s recent affinity for sweaters may be inspired by her forthcoming business venture, Guest in Residence. Yesterday, she posted an array of pictures in which she works with a team developing what appears to be an outerwear line, judging on the cute sweaters she wears in some pics. She also added the titles of Founder and Creative Director of Guest in to her Instagram bio.
