You know that feeling when you put yourself together for a big event, or meeting, or interview, and you think you look great throughout — only to later learn that something was amiss (perhaps it was lipstick on your teeth, an unbuttoned button, or a bunched-up hem)? And all you can think is, Why didn’t anyone just tell me?
Zendaya knows that feeling — or, if she doens’t know it firsthand, she at least understands it — and she proved as much when she did a reporter a solid during an interview this week. She and Zac Efron were doing a press junket interview with FilmWebTV for their upcoming film, The Greatest Showman, when the actress noticed one piece of the reporter’s hair was noticeably out of place.
Instead of just ignoring it, Zendaya interrupted the reporter to nicely call it out. “Hold on really quick; I don’t want to be weird,” she said before walking over to him to fix the rogue hair herself. “This is gonna bother me. You have one piece of hair…. I got you.”
As she sat back down, she told the others in the room (who were off camera), “I was like, He’s going to be mad about it when he sees it later! I got you.”
We could all use a Zendaya in our lives.
