One of the biggest names in stand-up comedy is coming to Central New York for the Turning Stone Resort Casino’s 30th anniversary celebration.
Kevin Hart will perform at the Turning Stone Event Center on Sunday, May 14, at 6 p.m. The show is part of the superstar comedian’s “Reality Check” tour dates.
Tickets will go on sale to the public Friday, March 31, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster, the Turning Stone Box Office or by calling 1-877-833-SHOW. Presale tickets will be available to TS Rewards members starting Thursday, March 30, at 10 a.m.; tickets will also be available starting Wednesday, March 29, at 10 a.m. with code COMEDY, according to Hart’s website.
The show will be Hart’s first performance in Central New York since visiting the Oncenter War Memorial Arena in Syracuse in 2018. No other stops are booked in Upstate New York this year.
Hart frequently sells out major arenas, so tickets are expected to go fast: Fans may want to check resellers like VividSeats, StubHub, Megaseats, TicketNetwork or SeatGeek for tickets.
He is an Emmy- and Grammy-nominated comedian and actor who has released multiple stand-up specials, including 2011′s “Laugh at My Pain,” 2016′s “What Now?” and 2020′s “Zero F–ks Given.” His credits also include “Jumanji: The Next Level,” “Central Intelligence,” “Think Like a Man,” “Ride Along,” “Fatherhood,” “The Secret Life of Pets,” “Celebrity Game Face,” “Die Hart,” and “The Wedding Ringer,” directed by Liverpool-based American High founder Jeremy Garelick.
The Turning Stone Resort Casino said it plans to make more “huge entertainment announcements” over the next 30 days, calling the casino’s anniversary celebration “The Next 30.” Previously announced shows that are part of “The Next 30″ include singer Tom Jones (May 26), country superstar Tim McGraw (July 2), country singer Jake Owen (Aug. 6), Grammy-winning duo Dan + Shay (Aug. 12) and comedy legends Steve Martin and Martin Short (Nov. 12).
“A historic anniversary deserves a historic lineup of entertainment for our guests,” said Ray Halbritter, Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Oneida Nation Enterprises CEO. “The biggest entertainers in the world will be performing at Turning Stone this year as we celebrate our ‘Next 30′ anniversary and look forward to even bigger and better things to come.”
