I’ve been taking part in the Terry Fox Run since second grade and can’t think of a more enduring and lovely legacy for one person. Terry Fox inspired millions in life and death.”
The Terry Fox Foundation has recently shared an update on the Dear Terry T-shirts designed with the help of the Wrexham co-owner. According to the website, the pre-sale for the shirts started on February 19, a day after Reynolds announced the partnership.
According to the website, they have sold over 28,000 Dear Terry T-shirts to date. It has helped them raise $1 million for cancer research. They expect to launch the T-shirt on April 12. Moreover, the website says one lucky Canadian will get a limited edition T-shirt signed by Ryan Reynolds on the launch day.
It was a day when Terry Fox began his first Marathon of Hope in 1980. He started the initiative to raise cancer awareness and encourage funding for cancer research. The very next year, after the unfortunate death of Terry Fox, the first Terry Fox Run event took place. It amassed around 300,000 participants, raising over $3.5 million for the cause. Since then, it has become an annual event, spreading across 60 countries.

Now, it becomes easier for the Deadpool star to visit Wrexham, as he has invested in a new home. The new home cost the Hollywood superstar $1.8 million, and it is five miles away from the Racecourse Stadium.
Reynolds’ club is on the verge of promotion to the Football League Two for the first time since 2008. With four games to go, it is on the top of the National League table, and Reynolds can achieve the crucial goal of promotion in his second season as owner.
