They’ve been invited into the homes of some of the city’s biggest stars to help with them mark special occasions
The coronavirus pandemic may have changed much of this year but thanks to one Liverpool company people have still been able to mark their special occasions.
Rainbows Party has been supplying decorations for home celebrations including the birthdays of Liverpool footballers Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino’s daughters.
Both players have shared images of the set ups created by the team at Rainbows, who are also responsible for dressing many events across the city – before the current restrictions were in place.
Speaking to the ECHO, owner Jacquline Ashton said: “It is really lovely for our work to be recognised by anyway but it is always rewarding knowing that the quality of our work is recognised and considered a high enough standard for some of the most prestige venues in the city , and celebrity clients.
“The pandemic has had a huge impact on our business. Weddings make up a substantial part of our business, and all have been postponed.
“People are still wanting to celebrate and make a fuss on their loved ones in their homes for their special occasions, so home displays have been really popular during this time.”
For Mo Salah’s daughter Makka, the team created the ultimate Incredibles set up based on the film. The display included character cut outs, red, yellow, orange and black balloons and cake stands too.
The footballer shared an image of himself and Makka to his Instagram feed showing them both wearing Incredibles costumes too.
To mark their daughter Bella’s fourth birthday, Firmino and his wife Larissa hired Rainbows to create a pastel-coloured balloon arch and with Bella even having her own backdrop complete with her name too.
Other decorations included a LED light-up number four, two cake stands, a cake stand with ‘Bella 4’ written across it and a smaller balloon rainbow in the same colours as the arch.
When Rainbows isn’t helping create eye-catching displays in celebrities homes, they are busy helping people across the city create a really unique celebration.
Jacquline, 57, added: “Although we offer all aspects of party, we mainly specialise in event decor including weddings, baby showers, birthdays, christenings and gender reveals. Also balloon decor makes up a huge part of our business.
“The most in demand items are our photo back drops and centrepieces.
“We offer a bespoke service, to allow all clients to build their own package so they are receiving exactly what they require. Whether this be a couple of balloons to celebrate at home or large extravagant party with over 300 guests.
“We like to keep current and on trend for all our events and service, and pay particular attention to detail on everything we offer. We pride ourselves on our customer service, and the vast range of products and services that we offer.”
