Cristiano Ronaldo showed off his fit physique as he posed alongside his son outside a cryo chamber for a social media snap on Monday.
The sportsman, 37, and 11-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo Jr stood together outside the room as they prepared to plunge their bodies into freezing temperatures for the treatment which can help ease muscle pain.
Sharing the photo on Twitter, the Manchester United football player wrote: ‘Recovery time with my boy,’ along with an ice block emoji.

The father-son duo wore underwear from Cristiano’s CR7 men’s and boy’s range, with the star’s son wearing a pair of black gloves before heading into the chamber.
A number of celebrities swear by cryotherapy, also known as cold therapy, which can also aid weight loss and slow down the physical effects of ageing.
Ronaldo’s son was born in San Diego, California in 2010 when he announced he would be caring for him under his exclusive guardianship while his mother decided to keep her identity confidential.

It comes after Cristiano and his partner Georgina Rodriguez revealed earlier this month that the name of their newborn daughter is Bella Esmeralda.
The footballer’s girlfriend, 28, announced the name they had picked alongside three adorable photos which saw the little one sleeping in her cot… after confirming the child’s twin brother tragically died at birth.
Tagging her location as Manchester, the photos saw their tot appearing to crack a smile while wear a pink top as well as a white Moschino number and a knitted hat.
She wrote in her caption: ‘Bella Esmeralda [green heart] 180422.’

Ronaldo and the former sales assistant revealed that their son had died at birth on April 18, but their daughter survived.
Announcing his and Georgina’s heartbreaking loss earlier this month, Cristiano wrote on social media: ‘It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel.
‘Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.

‘We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support.

The footballer missed Man United’s mid-week match against Liverpool which saw fans at Anfield holding a minute’s applause for Ronaldo and his family and singing ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone.’
Following the devastating stillbirth, the couple and their other children returned home with their newborn daughter last Thursday, days after the footballer confirmed his partner had lost the child’s twin brother.
The striker shared a social media update shortly after their baby girl made the journey back from hospital following her birth.

Posting a photo for his 430million followers, Ronaldo cradled his daughter while accompanied by Spanish partner Georgina and their four children – three of which the footballer fathered through surrogates.
Captioning the post, he wrote: ‘Home sweet home. Gio and our baby girl are finally together with us. We want to thank everyone for all the kind words and gestures.
‘Your support is very important and we all felt the love and respect that you have for our family. Now it’s time to be grateful for the life that we’ve just welcomed into this world.’
