Marcus and Lucia enjoyed their trip to the Big Apple last month after Marcus was ruled out of England’s games due to an injury.
The footballer made sure to document his much-needed trip by sharing a few snaps with his fellow followers.
In one particular snap, the happy couple could be seen posing in front of a fountain in the famous Central Park.
Marcus and Lucia met at school in Greater Manchester when they were just 15.
And the soon-to-be newlyweds revealed that they were engaged last May.
Lucia has been seen supporting Marcus at football games over the years, including during the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and has been seen in the stands at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
However, some fans have recently criticised the timing of the couple’s trip while the three Lions played the Euro Qualifiers against Italy and Ukraine.
Boss Gareth Southgate, 52, quickly come to Marcus’s defence and said ‘Once Marcus is ruled out of the squad, it’s entirely up to him how he spends his time.’
