The Red One star said, “We were trying to figure out something to do that was going to be fun and surprise her, and we had kicked around ideas all week. “The key to a surprise like that is to actually keep it a surprise.”
The WWE legend added, “Myself and the Grammys went to great lengths to make sure that Adele was authentically surprised in the moment, and she was.”
While entertaining the audience, Trevor Noah came near Adele and gave a hint of her surprise. The Rock popped up, and it awed her with happiness. They hugged and shared some kisses on the cheeks.
The 34-year-old singer had shared in a December 2021 appearance with YouTuber Nikkie Tutorials about being a fan of The Brahma Bull since his WWE days.
Further, she recalled how once DJ and his wife send her flowers after being unable to attend her concert. Adele recalled nearly falling off her chair after seeing this gesture. It took almost two months for her dream to come true.
