After causing some controversy with the launch of her alcohol brand Delola – which fans deemed confusing and “fake” because of husband Ben Affleck’s alcohol addiction and her own admission that she doesn’t drink – Jennifer Lopez is back doing something we know her fans will love!
The 53-year-old Marry Me actress and global brand ambassador for Coach has returned for the brand’s new Mother’s Day campaign, posing in a series of spring-ready ensembles and promoting some of the brand’s most feminine pieces! The campaign is meant to highlight the “dynamic and ever-evolving roles mothers play.” And we know we say this every time, but we think this might be our favorite one yet!
Jennifer Lopez For Coach’s Mother’s Day 2023 Campaign
Shot by Joshua Woods, one image sees the “Pa Ti” singer – who is mom to 15-year-old twins Emme and Max and step mom to Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s three children, Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11 – sitting on some steps and posing in a gorgeous floral short-sleeved shirt in some of spring’s boldest colors, teamed with the coordinating shorts that highlighted her enviably long, bronzed pins, spring-ready black sandals and a pink floral-embellished Rogue tote.
In another picture, the “On The Floor” singer proves that brown definitely still works for spring, as she is sitting on a pink bench and posing in a brown long-sleeved sweater with the Coach logo on it, teamed with black sandals and the real hero piece of the look – a pink Coach Tabby bag sitting on her lap. We love the contrast of the pink against the brown! The Coach ambassador previously told People that the Tabby bag was “iconic” as well as “gorgeous and practical” and we couldn’t agree more!
Despite the JLo Beauty founder not wearing any florals in the second image, it’s clear to see that flowers weren’t far from the brand’s mind, as she was posing in a garden with beautiful flowers in the background. The attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed! That is evident in the third picture too, as the Shotgun Wedding actress is posing in a denim long-sleeved below-the-knee shirt dress among hundreds of flowers, while wearing pink heeled sandals and toting an off-white crescent shaped bag.
Speaking about the latest campaign, the “If You Had My Love” singer told People: “Coach is celebrating the many many sides of moms. Every child is unique and special in their own way and it’s our nurturing that helps them blossom.” She then said, “All we need is love and a Tabby bag.”
Jennifer Lopez Discusses Her ‘Trick Of Motherhood’
The Hustlers actress also discusses motherhood in a video, saying “the trick of motherhood” is about the “balance of being a partner, a friend, a parent. To be able to know when to comfort them, when to be firm with them, when to set boundaries.”
She also noted, “Well I have teenagers now. You know everybody warns you about this stage in life. And it’s definitely different from when they were little, but you have to grow with your kids. They wind up teaching you, you evolve as a person ’cause you have to.”
