Sports fans usually watch in awe as Patrick Mahomes pulls off remarkable feats. On Sunday, however, the star quarterback cheered with other spectators while Stephen Curry put on a show.
Curry propelled the Golden State Warriors to a Game 7 win over the Sacramento Kings with 50 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. During this epic performance, Mahomes gave the fellow MVP some love.
“Go crazy then,” Mahomes wrote on Twitter.

Fans have often drawn parallels to Curry and Mahomes, two highly entertaining all-time greats who have revolutionized their respective sports. They’re both also defending champions looking to expand their legendary legacies.
Curry tipped his cap to Mahomes after No. 15 led the Kansas City Chiefs to their second Super Bowl title in the last four seasons. He posted a photo of them on a golf course together to celebrate his comeback win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Their respect is mutual, as Mahomes was just as enamored as other NBA viewers to see the 35-year-old drain seven three-pointers in a must-win road game. Curry averaged 33.7 points during a back-and-forth first-round series against the Kings.
Mahomes will get more opportunities to watch Curry when he leads the Warriors into the next round. They’ll face a familiar foe in LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
