Jamie O’Hara has questioned whether Harry Kane deserves a future statue at Tottenham, with the striker’s future still up in the air.
Kane netted his 26th league goal of the season in Spurs’ 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday to keep alive his side’s hopes of European qualification.

The strike was Kane’s 209th in the Premier League leaving him 51 goals shy of Alan Shearer’s record of 260.
Despite never having won a trophy in his career, Kane continues to break individual records, having already become England’s all-time leading scorer.
When discussing whether the Three Lions skipper would be worthy of a future statue outside of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, O’Hara admits it would depend on whether Kane signed a new deal at the club.
“He’s a legend,” O’Hara told talkSPORT. “I would say he has a Harry Kane lounge. There’s so many things you can do but a statue outside the stadium…
“If he stays and gets the Premier League all-time record then yeah, a statue. Probably deserves it.
“If he leaves in the summer, goes to Man United and breaks the record somewhere else. Do you get a statue for not winning anything? I don’t know.”
2O’Hara says Kane should have a statue but only if he stays at Tottenham
Kane’s future remains a problem for a Spurs side who look increasingly likely to miss out on Champions League football next season.
The 29-year-old has just 13 months remaining on his existing deal with no breakthrough in negotiations.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain remain interested in Kane, while Bayern Munich have made it clear that they will only move for the Spurs hitman if he leaves as a free agent.
Should Kane opt for a new challenge this summer, Spurs are expected to want around £100 million for their prized asset.
