Photographer Andy Rouse’s journey to capture the perfect shot of a tiger’s hunt was not an easy one. Many times, he had tried and failed to capture the “divine” moment when a tiger pounces on its prey. But through sheer perseverance and a bit of luck, Rouse finally managed to capture these catastrophically beautiful moments of a zebra tiger’s predatory display. The result is a series of stunning images that showcase the raw power and instinct of these majestic creatures, as they hunt and kill their prey with incredible speed and precision. Through Rouse’s lens, viewers are transported into the heart of the action, witnessing the primal beauty of the natural world like never before.
As a passionate wildlife photographer of zebra tigers, Andy Rouse feels he’s hit the jackpot when he hunts for these amazing images.
On the day Andy took the photos of a lifetime, Andy Rouse was following a tigress when he suddenly saw it stop, motionless.
Thrilled to watch the tigress’s actions, luck was finally on the photographer’s side, he captured every very realistic and vivid moment of the tiger’s hunting and killing.
In a very short amount of time, the tigress rushes to her prey, using her tremendous strength, skilled hunting skills and size advantage to completely control the poor deer.
After controlling the deer, the tigress bit down on the throat of the prey, cutting off the life, extinguishing the last weak resistance of the prey.
When the deer can no longer struggle and move, the tigress bites the prey’s neck and pulls it back to a shady area.
