Angelina Jolie‘s marriage to Brad Pitt was one of the biggest Hollywood stories of the millennium, but it ended badly and there have even been reports of an on-flight fight in 2016.
Whilst the details of this incident have been sketchy to this point, the FBI has finally released the 164-page dossier to Angelina Jolie, which details their investigation into the fight which took place on plane journey in 2016.
Radar Online reported on Friday morning that the FBI has finally turned over a raft of documents to the actor, with their review process having now been completed.
Jolie has been involved in a legal battle with the FBI over their handling of this case, and she even filed a lawsuit which accused the agency of refusing to turn over all records related to her.
Pitt was accused of physically attacking Jolie on a flight that was travelling from France to Los Angeles, and Jolie was unhappy with the quality of the FBI’s investigation into just what happened on the plane.Pitt was accused of attacking his children.
What was most alarming about initial reports from the plane came with Jolie‘s suggestion that the Moneyball star had attacked their children.
“Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face, he also grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her,” Jolie‘s lawyer explained.
Law enforcement personnel were made aware of the incident and were on the runway as the plane landed.
No criminal charges were ever brought against Pitt, which totally surprised Jolie, and forced her to submit a Freedom of Information Request, hoping to find out just why the FBI had come to this conclusion.
“The persistent denial of that information to Jolie has hampered, and continues to hamper, her efforts to obtain for her children necessary ongoing care and medical attention,” the lawyer continued.
