Which team would win a best-of-7 series between Blue Superteam and Yellow Superteam? The Blues have some superstar players competing for some great franchises, including the Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks, Denver Nuggets, and Philadelphia 76ers. With blue color in their jerseys, we have seen some superstar players play for the Blues, including Stephen Curry, Luka Doncic, R.J. Barrett, Nikola Jokic, and Joel Embiid. All of these players are extremely talented, with four out of five multiple-time All-Stars and All-NBA Team members.
For Yellow Superteam, the superstars consisted of teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Sacramento Kings, and Indian Pacers. All three franchises have yielded some excellent players in D’Angelo Russell, Tyrese Haliburton, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Myles Turner. Those five names fit together perfectly because they have offensive and defensive skills to bring to the court.
The superstars on Team Red have all experienced individual success over their careers and will form dynamic five-man rotations to battle in an iconic series. Who wins a best-of-7 series? It is time to find out because this series will completely go the distance.
Stephen Curry vs. D’Angelo Russell

Stephen Curry is one of the greatest guards to have ever played the game. For the Golden State Warriors, the legend might be the best to ever wear the jersey. Of course, Curry is a first-ballot Hall of Famer with some of the greatest offensive skills we have seen. Stephen Curry is responsible for changing the NBA game to what it is today, thanks to his elite marksmanship. With four NBA titles to his name, it is only natural that Curry will look to create space for himself in the series against an All-Star scorer in Russell.
Russell, a one-time All-Star, is an elite slasher and also has the skill to take the smaller Curry in the post. Thanks to his elite offensive IQ, Russell will punish Steph on some one-on-one occasions. He is also an excellent shooter when looking at his capability and stats and will be able to play off the ball alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Overall, both players bring an excellent offensive ability to this all-time great series.
Luka Doncic vs. Tyrese Haliburton

Luka Doncic has an all-time great player alongside him in Stephen Curry, to give touches to, so he will be off the ball at times. He will feel uncomfortable in those situations at times but will figure it out over the seven games. The Slovenian will make shots from outside, be a consistent playmaker, and also use his size to rebound and engage in paint battles. No doubt, Doncic will get more comfortable over the series and feed Curry effectively.
Tyrese Haliburton will be the primary playmaker on the team when LeBron James isn’t handling the ball, meaning D’Angelo Russell will be relegated to being off the ball instead of a pure point guard. Haliburton can space the floor from three and also run on the break, which means LeBron James will love playing alongside him. Haliburton will lose his matchup to Luka, but he will have some strong games.
R.J. Barrett vs. LeBron James

R.J. Barrett has a ton to handle with The King across from him, but will be able to space the floor at times and also use his versatility to run the break and finish at the rim. Barrett does not have LeBron’s size, but he does have a high offensive IQ and will need to tap into his defensive game more than he would like. The New York Knicks wing player will lose this matchup, but he won’t be a pushover by any means.
LeBron James is the greatest small forward ever and will play more of a point-forward role for Yellow Superteam. A gifted passer and tremendous all-around talent, The King will be able to haul rebounds on the court and also create shots for his teammates. LeBron is also capable of scoring and will be one of the primary offensive players. James will be able to guard Barrett on the perimeter, but there will be situations where The King decides to be a primary playmaker. In a favorable matchup, LeBron will average 29 PPG, 11 RPG, and 9 APG.
Nikola Jokic vs. Anthony Davis

Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid will be one heck of a duo in the paint. Jokic will be the “power forward” of the twin-towers pairing because he has more versatility as a point center. Nikola won’t be able to showcase his entire playmaking skillset because Luka and Steph want the ball as well, but he will do enough to post 23 PPG, 11 RPG, and 7 APG on 52% shooting from the field. The Serbian will struggle from three, only 31%, and that gives Anthony Davis enough room to showcase his own talents.
Anthony Davis is quicker than Jokic and more versatile as a scorer, so the Serbian will have his hands full on defense. Davis will average 25 PPG, 9 RPG, and 2 BPG over the seven games and will have to give up scoring chances to Jokic because of the Serbian’s elite size and strength. This matchup will be the marquee one because both players will challenge each other and go back and forth.
Joel Embiid vs. Myles Turner

In the matchup that favors Joel Embiid, the current Philadelphia 76ers star will take on shot-blocker Myles Turner in a paint battle. Embiid is a top-two center in the game right now, with the greatest scoring impact at the center spot. The superstar player has won two scoring titles in his career, carrying his team on his back at times and also locking up the paint defensively, thanks to his raw size. With Stephen Curry and Luka Doncic spacing the floor, Embiid will get the ball in strong positions and will go to work against Turner throughout the series.
Myles Turner realizes he must play smart against Joel, fouling when necessary and also putting pressure on him on the other end of the court. The series will be an interesting one nonetheless because both centers can be defensive giants. But Embiid has the moves to fool Turner on occasions and will be a force when he gets his rhythm going from the paint and from mid-range. Both centers will perform at an exceptional level, but there is only one winner, and that is Embiid when looking at the stat sheet and all-around impact.
Blue Superteam Advantages
Blue Superteam has all-time great shooting ability around the most dominant physical forces in the NBA right now. Curry is the greatest shooter ever, and he will always have an edge over anyone when it comes to floor spacing. But Steph can create his own shots from three, something rare in NBA history. Alongside him is another Hall of Fame scorer in Doncic, that joins Curry as a duo of the top-10 scorers in the NBA.
R.J. Barrett can space the floor a little bit but will be required to run on the break to get LeBron James running back and forth. No doubt, Blue Superteam has a petrifying twin-towers pairing of Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid down low. Jokic and Embiid can complement each other since the former is an elite passer, and the latter is a superstar scorer, although they don’t have a single weakness between them. With two elite perimeter scorers and two elite bigs, Blue Superteam will be hard to beat.
Yellow Superteam Advantages
Yellow Superteam has a beautiful mix of inside and outside scorers, along with versatility. They can simply go on the floor with every player capable of making smart plays and creating efficient plays. Even as elite ball-handlers, LeBron James and Tyrese Haliburton are capable point guards and will do a fantastic job feeding their superstar teammates in their favorite spots. LeBron James, thanks to his versatility, will also have an excellent all-around series when taking into account scoring and rebounding.
Of course, Yellow Superteam has Anthony Davis, a unique scorer with the ball in his hands. Surrounding LeBron and Davis with other offensive threats essentially means that the stars will have the confidence to grab the game by the scruff of the neck without the need for pacing themselves. LeBron and Davis can allow Russell, Haliburton, and even Turner to space the floor, which means shooting will be the key component of the series.
Who Wins A Best-Of-7 Series?
Game 1 is all Blue Superteam, as Stephen Curry scores a cool 40 points on 47% shooting from the field and 40% from three. Blue Superteam plays solid perimeter defense on the opposing scorers, preventing them from getting hot from the perimeter. Doncic and Jokic have solid games as well, but they also cause stifling offensive pressure in the second half, mainly. Yellow Superteam struggles to make threes as they go 5-27 from deep, and that essentially means they can’t keep up with the opposition.
Yellow Superteam responds in Game 2, as the scorers find their range, nailing 18 threes combined. Russell, Haliburton, and James shoot 40%from the three-point line, excellent shooting numbers for a high-usage group of players. Blue Superteam struggles to handle the perimeter, despite a monster 44-point second-half performance from Nikola Jokic and Joel Emiid. Yellow Superteam simply gets off to a hot start and never cools off, and the game ends 111-101. Blue Superteam is forced to make adjustments on the fly as their defensive strategy would need to change in the next game.
As expected, Blue Superteam responds in Game 3, winning the game 107-101 thanks to a monster fourth quarter by Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic. Skipping to the fourth quarter, James comes up with 10 points and 5 assists while the opposing centers chip in 15 of their own. The game is a hard-fought one for the majority of the game, but Blue Superteam pulls away thanks to a sensational performance from their two star big men. Embiid and Jokic have too much size down low, and Curry and Doncic realize this and continue to feed them.
Game 4 is all about LeBron James and Anthony Davis, and they lead their side to a two-point victory. LeBron dominates the court from the start, coming up with 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists in the first half alone. He is a force with the ball in the second half, and Blue Superteam is too fearful to play off the shooters. As a result, James scores another 18 points in the second half and ends the game with 13 rebounds and 12 assists as well. Clearly, letting a player of LeBron’s capabilities go off in this manner is not going to cut it. Blue Superteam benefits from elite play from Doncic and Curry, but they lose 104-102 with a late Luka jumper rimming out at the buzzer.
LeBron James dominates again, except this time, he shows more of his playmaking because Davis has a 30-point game. The big man just has an epiphany starting from Game 5 and does not let up, using his size to dominate the court. No player is as skilled as him when he is feeling it at his size, and he puts up a monster 20 points and 10 rebounds in the first half. In the second half, Davis comes up with 8 more rebounds alone as Blue Superteam scrambles to double-team him. Of course, the shooters let loose as the perimeter players go 11-25 from three combined. Other than Embiid’s 35 points and Jokic’s triple-double, no one else plays well and Yellow Superteam wins the game 113-97 to take a 3-2 lead.
Game 6 does not disappoint, because Blue Superteam clicks on all cylinders. In a high-scoring game, neither side pushes the pace much and instead focuses on feeding the bigs. Embiid once again leads Blue Superteam with 27 points at the end of regulation, while Jokic has 25 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists. Not to mention, the guards come to life. Curry drops 29 points on seven threes, Doncic has 25 points and 11 rebounds, and Barrett makes all three of his three-pointers. In a blowout, Blue Superteam defeats Yellow Superteam 122-93. On to Game 7, with everything on the line.
Game 7 is expected to be an exciting matchup, and it certainly is, although it isn’t that close. The man of the moment is Nikola Jokic, who finishes with 29 points, 20 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocks. This was a virtuoso performance from the center, who basically sets the tone in the first half. Nikola’s presence alongside Joel Embiid in the post forces Yellow Superteam to shoot only 39% from the field, with only LeBron James keeping the game somehow alive with a 20-point first half.
Blue Superteam double-team LeBron in the second half, and The King decides to make the right plays. Unfortunately, his shooters can’t respond. Haliburton and Russell go cold from three, and Davis only manages 20 points on 41% shooting from the field. Jokic dictates the game, feeding Embiid at times, and also scoring on his own. Curry and Doncic are extremely efficient, and the score ends 118-105. Yellow Superteam runs out of steam and if their shots don’t fall, they have no chance with Jokic earning Finals MVP honors.
