On Monday, the 21-year-old turned the streets of New York into her own personal runway as she left her apartment building.

The beautiful blonde donned a sheepskin-lined denim jacket over a white T-shirt and blue and white pinstriped bell bottoms that showed off her long slender legs.

Gigi, who stands a willowy 5ft 10ins, left the hem on her low-rise trousers a bit too long and they dragged on the ground behind her heels.

The Victoria’s Secret model probably usually wears the garment with high heels rather than the sensible white sneakers she chose for the day.

Gigi smoothed her tresses into a high bun, showing off her make-up free face save for a smear of pink lipstick.

And she hid her eyes behind round, wire rimmed shades on a cloudy day.

She accessorised with a white leather handbag and THAT gold band she’s been wearing on the fourth finger of her left hand for some weeks.

It comes after reports that she turned down boyfriend Zayn Malik’s marriage proposal over Christmas, according to a source for Life & Style.

The magazine reported that the model thought they were moving ‘too fast’ and that ‘she’s only 21 and doesn’t feel ready to tie the knot, so she turned him down.’

Gigi and the 24-year-old former One Direction star have been dating for over a year.
