Photos of the Frenchman, as a 14-year-old boy, in his home in the Parisian suburb of Bondy reveal just how obsessed Mbappe was with Real Madrid, and Cristiano Ronaldo in particular.
The jubilant youngster poses in front of around two-dozen photographs of the Portuguese striker in action for Madrid.
There are also photos of the forward with his hero, Ronaldo, as well as of him posing with his Monaco shirt, having signed for the French side in 2013.

Mbappe’s father Wilfried has previously spoken of his son’s admiration for Ronaldo.
‘He is a Real Madrid fan and his idol is Cristiano Ronaldo,’ he told France Football.
‘He used to spend hours watching videos [of Ronaldo] on the internet.’
