Oscar Rodriguez could not believe his eyes when he was gifted with a Ford Raptor truck by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Rodriguez was a Navy veteran from Culver City, who is active in community causes.
He was nominated for the special screening of Johnson’s new film “Red Notice” in the theater by one of his gym customers.
Johnson explained the reasons on social media why he chose Rodriguez. He said, “I gathered as much information as I could about everyone in the audience and ultimately, Oscar’s story moved me. Takes care of his 75-year-old mom. Personal trainer. Leader at his church. Provides support and meals for women victimized by domestic violence. Proud & humbled Navy veteran. A kind human being.”
The famous actor said that his original plan was to give Rodriguez the Porsche Taycan which he drove in the movie – but as Porsche said no, instead of Porsche he decided to give him his own personal Ford Raptor truck.
When Johnson gifted him the truck, Rodriguez was filled with gratitude and grateful tears. It was an unforgettable moment Johnson created for his special and deserving fan. Rodriguez told that he is a fan of Johnson, particularly for his positivity and how he inspired others.
