Roberto Firmino’s dentist has revealed that he had to create a ‘super-white colour’ for the Liverpool forward, after he once requested ‘beyond grade one’ white teeth.
Having scoring 109 goals in 360 appearances across all competitions for the Reds, the Brazilian forward’s contract will expire in June and he looks set to depart Anfield alongside several other big names this summer.
Mail Sport understands that both Barcelona and Real Madrid are considering a move for the 31-year-old, after he told Jurgen Klopp he did not want to re-sign with the club back in March.
And with his exit fast approaching, Liverpool fans were seen serenading the forward after the Reds swept Leicester aside 3-0 on Monday night, singing his chant ‘Si Senior’ in a heart-warming moment after the game.
Several of his teammates have also been paying tribute to the forward for his brilliant personality and excellent footballing skills, with the Athletic recounting several stories from his colleagues, and one interesting anecdote from his dentist too.

Liverpool-based dentist, Dr Robbie Hughes, who’s past clients have included several of Firmino’s teammates and manager, Jurgen Klopp, recalled the first time he met the Brazilian forward back in 2016.
‘He was introduced to me by Lucas Leiva, alongside Philippe Coutinho,’ Hughes told the Athletic,
‘Bobby was seeking a smile makeover and we chose to do some porcelain veneers for him.
‘He wanted them very white, beyond (grade) one on the chart, so we created a super-white colour for him.
‘Not many had asked for that before but since Bobby had them done, over the years patients of mine have come in and requested ‘the Bobby dazzlers.’
Among the fans, Firmino is regarded as a legend of the club and one player who has scored some pretty important goals for Liverpool, including perhaps that extra-time winner that clinched Liverpool the Club World Cup triumph in December 2019.
His hat-trick against Arsenal in December 2018 after Liverpool went down also goes down as one of his greatest moments in a red shirt, with the Brazilian scoring a ‘no look’ goal before running around several Arsenal defenders to score his second.
He was back again to torment the Gunners in April this year, scoring a stunning late equaliser, in dramatic scenes at Anfield, as Liverpool staged a two-goal comeback to stall the London side’s title hopes.
His captain, Jordan Henderson also thanked him before lauding him for his positive mentality and contribution to the club.
‘Bobby’s contribution to Liverpool has been incredible and everything we have achieved together, he has been instrumental in it,’ the Liverpool captain said.
‘He is such a positive person and always smiling, which gives great energy to the team.’

Firmino will be one of several big names departing Anfield this summer, with Mail Sport reporting that James Milner is also set to leave after an eight year spell at the club.
Several clubs are in the running to sign the 37-year-old, including his former side, Leeds United, who could acquire him on a free transfer with his contract also expiring in the summer.
While he could return to Elland Road, Brighton currently seem the favourites to sign the Yorkshire man.
Alex Oxlaid-Chamberlain and Naby Keita are also set to depart the club this summer, with Klopp now set to refresh his squad.
