The Los Angeles Lakers are in a tightly-fought contest against the Denver Nuggets in Game 2, but it seems that LeBron James may not give us the production we expect.
James had a play where he got a wide-open lane to the rim and fumbled the ball out of bounds while trying to dunk it, leaving fans in shock with the realization that LeBron James’ age seems to finally be slowing him down.

‘Year 20 LeBron’ can’t finish these plays like even ‘Year 15 LeBron’ was doing on the Cavaliers.
Fans joked about what LeBron’s inner thoughts said to him when he missed that opportunity.

The first half of the game just ended with LeBron having scored 10 points with 5 rebounds and 6 assists. He’s the second leading scorer for the Lakers in the game, with Rui Hachimura going perfect from the field in his 17-point outing off the bench. Nikola Jokic is dominating as many people expected, scoring 16 points with 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The Lakers are leading 53-48 at the break.
Who Closes Out Game 2?
As many expected, the Lakers have managed to get Denver to play on their terms instead of getting caught in a shootout with them, as we saw in Game 1. The end of the second quarter saw the Lakers have a stretch where they went 10 possessions without scoring a basket, yet they still lead by five points. They managed this by ensuring Denver can’t get easy buckets either.
The Lakers’ strategy of letting Jokic get whatever he wants while limiting the production of others has been working really well. This is an extremely tactical series, so both teams may come out with different agendas altogether in the second half.
