They were at a party to celebrate the Golden Globes ahead of the ceremony on Sunday.
But Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams would have taken home the best dressed award – if there was one – after arriving in gorgeous dresses.
The pair, who are both nominated for a prestigious Globe, each brightened up the Chateau Marmont held bash in West Hollywood by sporting colourful dresses.
Blue belle: Jennifer Lawrence looked beautiful in cornflower blue at a celebration for the Golden Globes on Friday in West Hollywood
Jennifer accentuated her stunning curves in a striking cornflower blue creation by Victoria Beckham, which fitted her frame perfectly.
The 32-year-old sensibly let her dress be the centre of attention and kept her accessories simple, with black peep toe heels and a gold box clutch.
Amy followed suit of the Hunger Games star in a figure-hugging emerald green shift dress.
Green goddess: Amy Adams posed with Eddie Redmayne before whipping off her coat to reveal her gorgeous emerald dress
Hollywood hunk: Jennifer’s Silver Linings Playbook co-star Bradley Cooper was also in attendance
Plenty to smile about: Nashville co-stars Connie Britton (L) and Hayden Panettiere no doubt raised a glass to their nominations
She teamed the jewel tone frock with a gold clutch bag and matching sandals, with her famous flame-red locks cascading in waves.
Jennifer is nominated for a Best Actress gong for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, while Amy is hoping to take home the Best Supporting Actress trophy for The Master.
Jennifer’s co-star Bradley Cooper – up for Best Actor – was also on hand in a black suit with black and white gingham shirt.
Shimmering their way inside: (L-R) Camilla Belle, Rachel Zoe and Miranda Kerr all made sure they got noticed
Classic elegance: Lana Del Rey (L) and Marion Cotillard both chose demure outfits for the evening
Ooh la la: Carmen Electra was all about the sex appeal in a backless red dress
They were joined by a host of other stars at the party, which was thrown by Dom Perignon and W Magazine.
Marion Cotillard, who is hoping to take home Best Actress, was a sight for sore eyes in her silky floral ensemble.
Kerry Washington, who stars in Django Unchained which is up for seven gongs, wore an unusual black and white jumpsuit under a bright blue blazer.
Bright sparks: Morena Baccarin (L) and Kerry Washington were feeling bold in their eye-catching ensembles
What a cute couple: Dav Patel and Frieda Pinto were beaming from ear to ear as they posed with their arms wrapped around each other
Making friends: Kirsten Dunst (far right) posed up with W Magazine editor-in-chief Stefano Tonchi and designer Kate Mulleavy
A little bit racy: Minnie Driver (L) chose leather trousers while Amber Valletta’s little black dress had sheer sleeves
Connie Britton is also nominated for an award in the form of Best Actress in a TV Drama for Nashville, and chose a lacy dress with black coat and pumps, while her co-star and fellow nominee Hayden Panettiere clashed green and purple hues.
Meanwhile, singer Lana Del Ray kept things modest by sticking to a neutral colour palette, but Carmen Electra was typically all about the sex appeal in a backless scarlet frock.
The event was also attended by the likes of Dev Patel and partner Frieda Pinto, Amber Valletta, Miranda Kerr and Rachel Zoe.
Dressed to impress: Olga Kurylenko (L) and Atlanta de Cadenet slipped on their best dresses for the occasion
In the mood to party: They had only just arrived but (L-R) Marg Helgenberger, Estella Warren and Dreama Walker already appeared to be having a great time
Comfort’s important too: Kelly Rutherford (L) and Whiteny Cummings stood out for the wrong reasons in their very casual outfits
