The police are making their way through a dense bush. Underneath the trees lies an agricultural region.
In a well, a fallen elephant could be seen. These wells were constructed inside the grounds to support agricultural work. According to reports, the elephant has been there for about three days.
Given that this is not a crowded place, it might have taken longer for people to notice him. The unfortunate creature is unable to flee because of the concrete barricades. He must have gotten weaker because he’s been starving for days.
The wildlife conservation officers’ efforts to save the animal will be much more challenging. Elephants are often saved with an excavator, and the wells are mud wells that are dug into the ground. This time, though, things are different since a concrete wall effectively fences in the well.
You can see that the well is exactly the size of an elephant. The animal could get ʜᴜʀᴛ even though using an excavator will be straightforward. The well’s walls are built of concrete, making them slippery. The elephant could be able to escape if the walls are made of mud by applying the necessary friction with his leg.
Here, it is evident that a tree trunk was fastened to the well’s back. In essence, this is done to aid the elephant in rising. The officers try to break the concrete wall in order to let the elephant out. But as far as we can determine, the elephant isn’t moving or trying to leave. He lacks the strength to climb up since he is too fatigued. He rejects the ᴘᴏʟɪᴄᴇ’ and the local residents’ attempts to move him with their barks.
Let’s see how they managed to rescue the elephant in the video below:
