LOUISVILLE, Ky. —A fitness studio in St. Matthews is helping women meet their fitness goals.

Ambition Fitness is on Shelbyville Road and their instructors are introducing the weight section women actually want to be in.

Ambition Fitness is female-forward and specializes in taking the intimidation out of weights.

The 50-minute classes combine high-intensity resistance training and premium indoor cycling.

Ambition is female-founded and female-operated.

Owner Katie Daniel explains how they understand and prioritize women’s need for privacy and comfort using weights.

​They’ve redesigned the weight section to welcome all fitness levels and abilities with a clean, modern aesthetic that elevates the gym experience.

Daniel said they turn the lights down low and crank the music up loud, offering a space for women to have fun and feel strong and confident.

Ambition is offering two classes for $23 or the first month of any membership for $23.

Everyone’s first class is $5.
