A scientist discovers a dog-sized spider in a rainforest

Take a moment to gather yourself before continuing if you are an arachnophobe because this spider will ruin your sleep.

Piotr Naskrecki, a Harvard entomologist, recently wrote on his blog about an animal in Ghana’s rain forest that was eating a Southern America Goliath birdeater, a spider that is as big as a small dog or puppy. Their limb spread surpasses 30 cm (early a foot), and they weigh up to 170 g, according to Naskreski.

The spider has enormous fangs that can impair a greater person’s skill.

Naskrecki’s account of his encounter with the spider reads like something out of a nightmare. “The spider would begin rubbing its high legs against the hairy abdominal region. When I initially noticed this cute tendency, I thought, “Oh, how cute,” but then a clump of stray hair hit my eyes and caused me to scratch and cry for a few days. The entomologist goes into further detail, stating that the spider produced a loud hissing sound and was “capable of pinning a greater skill and would try to poke me with the poison implements.”

Naskrecki claims that the spider is “very much safe to humans,” but for those who have a mild case of arachophobia, this spider will undoubtedly make many people feel uneasy at home. For those who are feeling anxious after seeing this enormous bird-eating spider in all of its hairy, hissing, eight-legged magnificence, bear in mind that this spider actually makes noises while it moves, so it would probably wake you up before putting you to sleep with its fags.

The spider itself might be a great pet for those who have moυse problems iп their hoυse, aпd doп’t miпd the occasioпal hiss or wave of tear-iпdυciпg hair hittiпg their eyes. Siпce the spider is located iп Soυth America thoυgh, it’s υпlikely it will show υp iп pet stores aпytime sooп. Bυt here’s how the coυпtry woυld probably react to a Goliath birdeater roamiпg the streets.
