The miscarriage broke the hearts of parents Ali O’Leary and Chris Deasy. But soon Ali became pregnant with triplets. Even better, the triplets came into the world on a very special date.

Ali and Chris had very wonderful news for their 4-year-old daughter, Georgia. She will become a sister. But she found out that she is pregnant and that she is due to give birth on August 2. Unfortunately, she had a ᴍɪsᴄᴀʀʀɪᴀɢᴇ after only one month.

A few months later, the couple received incredible news. But she was pregnant again. Everyone was very surprised because the couple was still recovering from the ʟᴏss of the baby. “I never imagined that I could get pregnant again so early,” Ali said. “When I saw that the test was positive, I was in sʜᴏᴄᴋ.”

But that was not the only surprise. The parents requested an early ultrasound because they were afraid of a ᴍɪsᴄᴀʀʀɪᴀɢᴇ. But she said she just wanted to make sure the baby’s heart was beating. She got much more than that – the doctor heard not just one heart, but two – they were twins. At least that’s what they thought.

The next ultrasound revealed another baby. “It was a shock when I found out that we were going to have not just twins, but triplets! However, I think I was able to bear everything calmly because I had already experienced the ᴘᴀɪɴ of a spontaneous ᴀʙᴏʀᴛɪᴏɴ,” said Ali. “I was not overly shaken when I found out that we would have three babies. I just wanted them to be born healthy – that was the most important thing after suffering a loss. I just wanted them to survive”.

The doctors were very careful with Ali since her pregnancy was assessed as high-ʀɪsᴋ. Everything was going well until her water broke in the 31st week of pregnancy. The doctors tried to buy more time, but it soon became clear that the triplets were coming into the world.

At first, Ali and Chris were upset because the babies were coming too soon, but then they realized how significant the date of their premature birth was. Babies Lenny, Ted, and Bruce were born on August 2. – on the same date their miscarried baby was due.

“When I realized that they were born on the date the baby we lost was supposed to be born, we became very emotional,” said Ali. “But then I realized that it was meant to be. We see them as a gift from heaven – they are our three little miracles.”

The triplets are now at home with mom, dad, and their older sister and are healthy.
