James Gunn has been facing a lot of hate for the decisions that are being made in the DC Universe. He has already let go of Henry Cavill, and things are pretty dicey with Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson. He has recently been on the wrong side of the gun for his actions supporting nepotism. Especially considering how he has been pitching for his wife to cameo in future DCU projects.
James Gunn
Celebrities have been embracing and taking advantage of nepotism for years now. This has often led to other people missing out on opportunities because of what influence famous people might already have established. Something similar is being done by Gunn as he tries to put the spotlight on his wife who has nothing to do with the franchise in itself.

James Gunn Adds Jennifer Holland’s Cameo In Shazam! Fury of the Gods
James Gunn has reportedly added his wife Jennifer Holland for a cameo in Zachary Levi’s Shazam! Fury of the Gods. The response that the audience gave has been absolutely opposite of what the CEO of DC Films would have liked. While it is still unclear as to what exactly her role would be in the movie, fans are not happy with her being a part of the franchise at all.
Jennifer Holland
Fans have been speculating about why her role is being made such a prominent part of the DCU. It is highly argued whether or not it is the right decision to bring Holland for a cameo as it promotes nepotism. Nepotism is something the audience has been trying to fight against for a while now, so to see Gunn work towards it has not given him the kindest response.

Fans are standing against nepotism and how it affects cinema in itself but while doing so, they are trolling Holland and Gunn for following in its path. The audience has been saying that she could even play the next Shazam if given the opportunity by her husband.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods will be available to watch in theatres from 17th March 2023.
