Where is the real place of the burial place of Khong Minh Zhuge Liang is still a question mark, so far posterity has not found the answer.
Zhuge Liang, self-named Khong Minh, was an outstanding Chinese politician and strategist during the Three Kingdoms period. He is also a great diplomat, a talented inventor. His greatest contribution was the formation of the Three Kingdoms cauldron, the Shu-Wu alliance against Wei. Khong Minh is recognized as one of the most brilliant strategists of his time, compared with another brilliant strategist, Sun Tzu.
At the age of 54, he fell seriously ill and died in the barracks. Whole life devoted to the revival of the Shu Han Dynasty, but where is the real burial place of Khong Minh, so far posterity has not found the answer. According to his will, after his death, he wanted to lay his grave at Dingjun Mountain – a mountain in Shaanxi province. Because the top of the mountain is very flat and can accommodate tens of thousands of troops, it is named Dinh Quan.
The mountainous terrain is very complex with undulating undulating slopes, which is considered very good in terms of feng shui. Right at the foot of the mountain, visitors will see Zhuge Liang’s tomb and the temple named after him. According to Chinese historical records, due to predicting fate, Zhuge Liang advised that after his death, the soldiers put his body in a coffin and carried it back to Han Trung. When the rope breaks somewhere, that place will be taken as a grave.
.
The soldiers obeyed and carried the coffin away. However, carrying for a very long time without the rope breaking. Arriving at Dinh Quan Mountain, the rope suddenly snapped, causing the coffin to fall. Soldiers rushed to dig a grave when suddenly the ground around the coffin collapsed, just enough to fill Zhuge Liang’s coffin. After that, the area where the grave was placed was not closed, nor did it leave any obvious signs. People also built more fake graves around to fight the dead tomb.
Today’s tomb is still called “The True Grave of Zhuge Liang”, in fact, it is not the real grave. According to Chinese legend, the grave with the words “Tomb of Wuhou” is the actual resting place of Khong Minh.Today, there is a tomb named “Tomb of Wuhou” located in the northwest corner of Dinh Quan mountain, covering an area of more than 300 acres. But experts say that even this place is not a real tomb.
Throughout China, people also set up many temples to commemorate this talented strategist. In which, the most famous is the temple in Mien district, at the foot of Dinh Quan mountain. Next is the Wuhou Temple in Chengdu; Wuhou Temple in the White Emperor Citadel, Chongqing.
