The Los Angeles Lakers had a great night on Thursday night, securing a big win against the inspired Indiana Pacers. It was a hard-fought match, but the Purple and Gold came out victorious, showing that they’re living a good moment ahead of the trade deadline.
Not everybody had the same experience for the Lakers, as Russell Westbrook struggled to get buckets, and his performance led fans to ask the Lakers to finally move him ahead of the deadline.

On the other side, Patrick Beverley had a great night, as he went against first-time NBA All-Star Tyrese Haliburton, winning the duel against the talented point guard. This was a big game for Bev, who had some unfinished business with Tyrese and finally clashed with the former Sacramento Kings player.
Patrick Beverley Sends A Big Message To Tyrese Haliburton
Following the match, Bev talked about his personal duel with Haliburton, explaining that it was a special one for him after he heard some words from Haliburton. Pat didn’t like the fact that a rookie was mentioning him, and just like Michael Jordan, he took it personally.
“I heard Haliburton did an interview a while ago and he mentioned my name. And for a first-year guy to mention my name, especially all the work I’ve done in this league defensively, I felt it was, I wouldn’t say disrespectful, but I remembered his words. So I took it kind of personal and I wanted that challenge tonight, coach gave it to me, and subscribe to the pod.”
It’s well known that Patrick Beverley likes to create some rivalries against other players, as happened with Russell Westbrook before they became teammates and the well-known feud with Chris Paul. More recently, he went at it with Damian Lillard and also said some words to Kyrie Irving.
Pat Bev is a big competitor, even if that means taking things a little too far when he faces rivals.
