Gucci Mane, Radric Delantic Davis’s stage name in the music industry, is an American rapper.

He helped popularize trap music along with fellow rappers, T.I. and Young Jeezy in the 2000s and 2010s. Gucci Mane released his successful mixtapes in 2009 and his 6th studio album,  The State vs. Radric Davis which was his first certified-gold album. His collaboration with Rae Sremmurd, titled “Black Beetles” became his first song to reach the top of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Gucci Mane has released 13 studio albums and over 71 mixtapes and has his own label, 1017 Records.  He has also worked with several famous artists over the years which include Selena Gomez, Chris Brown, Drake, Lil Wayne, Marilyn Manson, Migos, 21 Savage, Young Thug and many more. Gucci Mane is overly fond of tattoos and all of his body is covered in many interesting inks. Let us take a look at the ones he has on his body and the meanings they hold.

1. 1017 Tattoo

Tattoo: The right thigh of the rapper, just above his knee contains a tattoo of the number, 1017 on it which is also underlined.

Meaning: 1017 stands for the 1017 Records which is the company owned by Gucci Mane.

2. Atlantic Tattoo

Tattoo: The waistline of the rapper at the front side of his body contains the word, Atlantic tattooed on it.

Meaning: Atlantic stands for Atlantic Records and is the record company from where he started his career making trap music.

3. Flatshcals Tattoo

Tattoo: His stomach, just below his left pec contains a tattoo of a tag with the word, “FLATSHCALS” tattooed inside it.

4. Hands Tattoo

Tattoo: The right side of Mane’s body contains a tattoo of two hands joined in prayer with flames surrounding the tattoo.

Meaning: The praying hands together is a tattoo representing a remembrance to the power of Christ and Praying. This tattoo represents the religious views of the rapper.

Tattoo: The middle of his chest and stomach contains a large tattoo of a mic.

Meaning: The tattoo of the portrait is of Gucci’s daughter. Gucci Mane and his girlfriend, Keyshia Ka’oir is very secretive of their children and even their names are a mystery.

8. So Icey Boy and Portrait Tattoos

Tattoo: Gucci Mane’s chest contains the words, “So Icey Boy” tattooed across it. His right pec also contains a portrait of a little girl’s face on it.

Meaning: The words on his chest represent the name of his album, “So Icey Boy”. The portrait is of another one of his daughters and he got this tattoo to show the love that he has for her.

9. Sign Tattoo

Tattoo: The front side of his stomach, just below his shark tattoo contains a tattoo of a post along with different signs pointing towards different areas such as Glenwood and So Icey.

Meaning: The tattoo represents his hometown, Atlanta, Georgia and shows his love for the same. So Icey is the title under which he released many mixtapes that got his famous.

10. Helicopter Tattoo

Tattoo: The right shoulder of the rapper contains a tattoo of a helicopter on it, flying in the sky with birds and the sun setting behind it. The word, “Guwop!” is also tattooed below the helicopter.

Meaning: The word, Guwop was tattooed to show his support for fellow rapper, Young Thug’s song.

Tattoo: Gucci’s left shoulder contains a tattoo of a mountain range all over it along with a glider flying through the sky with birds and music notes surrounding it.

Tattoo: The outer side of his right upper arm contains a tattoo of a heart that is burning up in flames that reach up to his shoulder.

13. Cards Tattoo

Tattoo: The right bicep of the rapper contains a tattoo of playing cards with a flame burning beside them. The flame contains the words, “Snitches get” inside it and the word, “stitches” is tattooed below the whole design.

Meaning: The words together make the phrase, “Snitches get stitches”.

Tattoo: The left bicep of the singer contains a tattoo of the word, “CEO” tattooed on it vertically. The letters are encased in a pattern of flames.

15. So Icey Tattoo

Tattoo: The inner side of his left forearm contains the words, “SO ICEY” tattooed on it and is covered in a pattern of flames in the same manner as his CEO tattoo.

Meaning: So Icey or Icey Boy are the nicknames that Gucci calls himself as the first mixtape that got him his fame was under the title, “So Icey Boy”

16. Heart and Gucci Tattoo

Tattoo: The upper side of his right forearm contains a tattoo of a large heart with a banner wrapped around it that reads his stage name. Gucci Mane.

17. Initials Tattoo

Tattoo: The upper side of his left forearm contains a tattoo design of a scroll along with the initials, “MD” and “MP” tattooed inside the scroll. There is also a tattoo of a red diamond above the scroll along with a few words tattooed above it. The rest of his arm is completed by small tattoos of his logo, music notes, and little designs.

Meaning: The initials might stand for the names of his children but we can not know for sure as he is very secretive about their identities.

Tattoo: The lower side of his left forearm contains a tattoo of a heart along with a pattern of lightning around it.

19. So Icey Tattoo

Tattoo: The inner side of the right forearm of the rapper contains the words, “So Icey One” tattooed on it surrounded by his logo and little music notes that complete his right sleeve.

Meaning: The words, “So Icey One”, again represents the name of his first mixtape, “So Icey Boy”

20. Diamond and Dollar Tattoos

Tattoo: Gucci’s left hand contains a tattoo os a dollar symbol encased between two diamonds. His left hand also contains the letter, “G” and all of his fingers contain little symbols tattooed on them.

Meaning: The letter G facing its inverted image is the logo of the brand, Gucci from where Gucci Mane derived his name.

21. Gucci Tattoo

Tattoo: The right hand of the rapper contains the same logo of the letter “G” along with its inverted image. There is a big one in the middle and smaller ones surrounding it all over his right hand. All of his fingers also contains the letter, “G” tattoed on them.

Meaning: The letters together make the logo of Gucci that represents the stage name of the rapper that is, Gucci Mane.

Tattoo: The front side of his left lower leg contains a tattoo of the famous video game character, Mario.

Meaning: Both of Gucci’s legs contain many different fictional characters that he or his family adores. Mario is one of them.

Tattoo: The left side of his lower left leg contains a tattoo of a character each from the Simpsons and Looney Tunes.
