LeBron James keeps breaking records and making history in the NBA, and he keeps aiming at huge milestones in the association. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar is set to take his team to the playoff after missing the big party last season, and once they’re there, Bron is ready to challenge for the championship.
Even though he’s locked in on helping the Lakers win it all this season, James has an ultimate goal before he calls it a career. As we all know, he’s not getting any younger, and even though he keeps beating Father Time, he’s closer to finishing his career than we think.
James has made it clear he wants to play with his son Bronny before the end of his career, and that looks like a huge possibility right now. The 18-year-old player will join the league next year after going to college, and ESPN recently predicted he would go as a top-10 draft pick in that draft.
This will be great for Bronny, but the prediction places him in Orlando, a place LeBron James previously stated he wouldn’t go to.
LeBron James Said He Would Retire Before Playing For Orlando Magic
Back in 2021, LeBron James made a huge statement about potentially playing for the Orlando Magic. After the traumatic experience he lived in the infamous Orlando bubble, the King claimed he would retire before going to the Magic.
This would be a huge thing for the Magic, a team with a lot of young talent that has shown interesting stuff this season. Adding LeBron and Bronny will surely be huge for them, but it’s still early to make any predictions about this. LeBron has stated his desire to share the NBA court with his eldest son, and he’s close to achieving another historical feat.
James previously played for another Floridian franchise, the Miami Heat, but it’s pretty clear that the markets of these two teams are very different. Still, he just wants to hoop with his kid, and if the Magic provides that opportunity, James won’t think twice to go there.
