Erik ten Hag makes shortlist for Premier League Manager of the Month

Erik ten Hag is among three candidates for the Premier League Manager of the Month award.

The Manchester United coach played out eight games across February, overseeing six wins and two draws. In the league, United played four matches, winning three and drawing one to Leeds United.

The Red Devils sit third in the table and are strong contenders to lift the title at the end of the campaign, as they are six points behind rivals Manchester City and 11 points behind leaders Arsenal – though United have a game in hand on both.

The Ten Hag era is underway

Ten Hag has been the orchestrator behind this remarkable resurgence happening at Old Trafford. His style of play, man management and hunger to lift trophies are what the club have been missing for several years.

He picked up his first piece of silverware as manager, the Carabao Cup, last Sunday and by 10 pm, the squad were on a flight home ready to rest and train again before training on Monday.
